On Saturday, October 16th our cross country team ran at Buckeye Local high school. The course was rough and a bit muddy. It was cold and sprinkling with harsh winds when our girls ran, but they fought through it. Kenzy Beckett finished 4th with a time of 20:56.59. Following Kenzy was Kaelee Stewart who finished in 24th with a time of 24:29.34. Shortly after Kaelee crossed the finish line Cady Weber crossed the line in 27th with a time of 24:52.10. When the boys ran the wind was terrible but like the girls the boys fought through it. Landen Salgat finished in 11th place with a time of 18:22.88. Crossing the line a few places behind Landen was Holden Salgat who placed 14th with a time of 18:41.62. Lee Mckitrick placed 48th with a time of 20:29.13.
The cross country team will be running at Cambridge high school for the District meet this Saturday. The first race starts at 9am.
